Dr. Hampel Ferenc is a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology. He graduated in general medicine from the University of Szeged in 1994.
He obtained his specialist qualification in traumatology in 2004 and the additional specialist qualification in orthopaedics in 2007.
For the past fifteen years his work has focused primarily on the conservative and surgical treatment of degenerative joint disease, alongside planned orthopaedic procedures and major joint replacement (hip and knee). He has long held the view that surgery should be a last resort, and that every reasonable conservative option — physiotherapy, medication, rehabilitation — should be exhausted first.
