Dr. Márki Balázs Gergely

Dr. Márki Balázs Gergely is an experienced specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive-care medicine. He graduated from Semmelweis University's Faculty of General Medicine and currently works at the National Ambulance Service (Országos Mentőszolgálat).

He worked in a second post at the emergency and anaesthesiology department of Toldy Ferenc Hospital, and since 2023 has continued his anaesthesiology and intensive-care work at Szent Pantaleon Hospital. He has also worked as a resident and in emergency care at several other hospitals.

His research interests include the effect of diabetes on cardiac arrhythmias and mortality, variability of the PQ interval, and the use of cardiac ultrasound in intensive-care settings. His work has received multiple awards at national and international scientific conferences and appears in several publications.
