Dr. Mauks György graduated summa cum laude in general medicine from Semmelweis University in 1973 and obtained his specialist qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1978 (Budapest, with distinction).
After fifteen years at Szent István Hospital he moved to Nyírő Gyula Hospital, where he retired in 2008 from the post of chief physician.
He has been in private practice since 1983, and full-time in his own clinic since 2008.
