Dr. Szabó János Ferenc qualified in general medicine at the University of Szeged (Szent-Györgyi Albert) in 1987, passed his urology specialist examination in 1991 (at Haynal Imre University), and obtained a PhD in oncology from the Doctoral School of Semmelweis University in 2001.
His areas of expertise include robotic surgery, microsurgery and laparoscopy.
He served as chief urological surgeon at the Central Military Hospital from 1990 to 2007, and as a senior physician at the Government Health Centre from 2007 to 2008. He has been an accredited doctor of the French Embassy in Hungary since 2001, and worked as a uro-oncology surgeon at the National Institute of Oncology from 2012 to 2023.
